Louise began painting as a child on Long Island, NY and has had formal training with artists Paul Gatto and Claire Kindler, of Long Island, NY. She has taken numerous college courses and workshops in life drawing, oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic; yet, prefers to think of herself as largely self-taught.
        She comes from an academic background, professionally, and since
retiring, she has devoted herself, entirely, to her art.
